Since the passing of Amendment 64 in Colorado, it is now legal for Colorado residents 21 years of age or older to posses up to an ounce of weed and to use it recreationally. But, where do Coloradans get this legal weed?

Currently there are no "pot shops" around to purchase recreational marijuana and only medical users can legally buy from dispensaries. So what is a recreational weed user to do? Why not get a "higher education" at Denver's THC University?

THC University will educate their students in the proper growing techniques to raise healthy and fruitful marijuana plants -- aptly named Marijuana Growing 101.

Newcomers to the art of growing marijuana plants may get a big surprise when they realize it's not just planting a seed and reaping the benefits. Students will learn if they want to grow in dirt, use hydroponics or grow completely organic.

THC University offers a few different programs for every green-thumb level, Marijuana Growing 101, Strains and Flavors, and Law and Business to name a few. Currently classes are being held at Denver's Auraria Campus in the Tivoli Student Union or you can sign up to follow online.
