In this day and age where everyone has a video camera in their pocket everywhere they go, it has become really eye-opening to discover just how many bizarre things are out there, often right under our noses. Or, in this case, feet.
An urban explorer made his way into a huge, sprawling tunnel system in Colorado and quickly discovered that he was far from the first person to make their way down there.

It can not be stressed enough that you should not attempt to find this place yourself. Visiting places like this can be dangerous and/or illegal.
This particular tunnel system, according to the urban explorer, is called the Napahoe Tunnel and is located in Colorado Springs.
There are numerous tunnels that have walls, floors, and ceilings that travel through the city and sometimes meet up. In fact, at one point three of these square-shaped tunnels come together.
In addition, there are numerous smaller tunnels, often round in shape, that branch off from the larger tunnels.
Sometimes the urban explorer runs into an area with natural light, but there is almost always graffiti and often a variety of junk laying around including chairs, shopping carts, and other random items.
Again, you should never visit a place like this on your own, but you can take a virtual tour below:
