Grand Junction Concert Venue Mysteriously Closed

The Mesa Theater posted this sign on their window announcing the 36 Crazyfists show was cancelled. The bands were in town, what happened?

I for one, was excited to catch 36 Crazyfists as they passed through town, they put on one hell of a show. But, my night was crushed when I passed by the Mesa Theater and saw this sign (above) on the ticket window.

As I was making my way back home, I saw the tour busses on Rood Ave behind Mesa and saw the bands hanging out in the back parking lot -- that confused me.

Checking out Mesa Theaters Facebook page, they posted this photo:

We even checked the band pages to see if they had any informtaion, maybe a sick singer, stolen equipment, you know, somthing serious enough to stop a show. Here's what 36 posted:

By now you've heard that the Mesa Theater is facing a possible eviction, and are currently working with the court systems to get their situation resolved.
