The Rev Brought The Heat

This past week we've had a couple great shows at The Mesa Theater. Royal Bliss Saturday and Reverend Horton Heat last night.

Wow, what a show! It's been a couple years since my last session with the Reverend. The energy level was off the chart! A full-blown mosh pit down front and couples dancing on the sides. That you'll only see at a Heat show. Jim ripped through hits "Psychobilly Freakout" and others with his vocal never sounding better. One of the highlights was when he and Jimbo swapped instruments. Jim slapped that stand-up bass like an old veteran and Jimbo wailed on the guitar.

No band on the planet rocks harder or lives truer than the Reverend Horton Heat. These “itinerant preachers” actually practice what they preach. They live their lives by the Gospel of Rock & Roll. Can I get an "Amen?"
