Team Colorado leads Team USA at the Winter Games.

It's cool for Coloradans to puff out your chest a bit. As we roll into the final weekend of the 2018 Winter Olympics, Colorado athletes have won 9 medals so far. That total is just under half of Team USA's total of 21. If Colorado were its own country, its medal count would be currently tied with powerhouse China in 14th place.

More Colorado gold, silver, and bronze may be forthcoming. This weekend Red Gerard and Chris Corning compete in the snowboard big air finals. Thornton, Colorado's own hero Green Beret Nathan Weber is set to make his Olympic debut in the 4-man bobsled this Saturday.

Colorado medal winners so far are as follows...

Red Gerard, Snowboard slopestyle, gold

Mirai Nagasu, Team figure skating, bronze

Arielle Gold, Snowboard halfpipe, bronze

Mikaela Shiffrin, Giant slalom, gold

Lindsey Vonn, Alpine downhill, bronze

Lauren Gibbs, 2-man bobsled, silver

Mikaela Shiffrin, Alpine combined, silver

Alex Ferreira, Ski halfpipe, silver

Nicole Hensley, Hockey, gold

Congrats to all the Colorado athletes and thank you for your hard work and dedication. Your performance at the 2018 Winter Games has been nothing less than remarkable and an inspiration to us all! Go Team Colorado and Go Team USA!
