Lazy Man Gets Underway Tonight

It's here! We've been promoting this for months. Finally, the 1st annual Lazy Man Olympus is set to start. The action gets underway this evening at The DoubleTree here in Junction. It's a benefit for Hilltop's Latimer House.

The Latimer House provides help to those affected by domestic violence and sexual assault. They too provide  24-hour crisis line, emergency shelter, advocacy, individual and group counseling, and children’s services. It's a great cause and 95 Rock couldn't be happier to be helping raise funds.

There are tons of golf tournaments out there. We wanted to take that tried and true concept and add a twist. A couple twists actually. A Texas Hold'em tournament on Friday and a Corn Hole tournament Saturday morning. Yes, were playing golf too.

On Saturday evening. we'll crown a winner. The best overall score from all three events will receive the first ever Gold medals and bragging rights as Lazy Man Champions! We'll hand out silver and bronze medals for second and third places as well.

Because of the tremendous success of this year's event, plans are already in the works for next year. Thanks for all the help and support from the Bookcliff Country Club, The DoubleTree Hotel, and the volunteers from Latimer House.
