Here is Yelp's list of Grand Junction's Best Coffee Shops. You agree?

I know I can't start my day without a couple cups. I bet you can't either. Who has the best cup of Joe in Junction? We're fortunate here at the radio station to have our coffee provided. I'm not sure how much money that saves me every year but it's a substantial amount. A special shout-out to Colorado Legacy Fine Coffee for hooking us up.

1- Octopus Coffee With two locations, at the corner of 6th and Grand behind the Mesa County Library, and 759 Horizon Drive, its top's on the list. Open Monday-Saturday from 7 am to 4 pm.

2- Kiln Coffee Bar Downtown at 326 Main Street sits this cool little joint. With a full menu of Coffees, teas, espresso, and more it's no question one of Junctions best. Open Tuesday-Saturday from 7 am to 9 pm and Sunday-Monday 7 am to 5 pm.

3- Grand Junction Mountian Grind Coffee Company Coming in at a solid 3rd on Yep's list is this quality coffee spot at 936 North Avenue. After reading all the positive reviews I'm surprised it's not at the top. Everyone seems o truly love this place. Open Monday-Friday 7 am to 4 pm and Saturday from 9 am to1pm.

4- Roasted Espresso and Subs This is the joint I'm most familiar with. Living near downtown it's handy for me when I need a weekend caffeine fix. Located at 5th and Colorado it's a popular place. Open Monday-Thursday 6:30 am to 9 pm, Friday-Saturday 6:30 am to 10 pm, and Sunday 6:30 am to 9 pm.

5-Traders Coffee & Tea Near St Mary's Medical Center at 666 Paterson road it's easy to find this place. With tons of positive reviews and a reasonably priced menu, it appears to be deserving of a spot in the top 5. Open 7 days a week Monday-Friday 6 am to 9 pm, Saturday and Sunday from 7 am to 7 pm.

So does Yelp have it right? Is your favorite on the list? We did try and stay away from national chains. No disrespect to the Starbuck's of the world but for the sake of being local, we tried to stay with those from the area.
