Colorado’s First Marijuana Bar is Now Open

After years of jumping through hoops, the first bar dedicated to the sale and consumption of marijuana in Colorado is now open for business.

The first Colorado bar dedicated to selling marijuana as well as giving consumers a place to smoke, eat, drink, or otherwise ingest THC products is now, finally, open for business.

JAD's Mile High Smoke opened its doors to the public just a couple of days after 4/20 on April 22nd. The owner of the establishment, Josh Davis, has been working for several years toward his goal of opening the establishment.

Location of the Colorado Marijuana Bar

JAD's Mile High Smoke is located just outside of Denver city limits in Adams County at 7667 Washington Street, a location that has been a couple of other businesses in recent times.

Prior to becoming JAD's Mile High Smoke, the building was a regular bar called Drunken Monkeys:

Before being Drunken Monkeys, the building was home to what appears to be an old Italian restaurant by the name of Adducci's:

If neither of those businesses ring a bell, perhaps you'll recognize the new Colorado marijuana bar's next-door neighbor, the gentlemen's club open 24 hours a day and seven days a week by the name of Dream House:

Either way, the brand new JAD's Mile High Smoke marijuana bar will be unlike a regular bar or strip club in many ways.

What Goes on Inside Colorado's New Marijuana Bar?

In addition to selling THC products such as marijuana flower, THC-infused drinks, THC-infused edibles as well as accessories like rolling papers, bongs, and pipes, JAD's Mile High Smoke has an atmosphere that is both fun and relaxing.

JAD's Mile High Smoke features things like TVs on the walls, arcade games, and food trucks outside to accommodate the munchies.
