Excavator Stolen from 7th Street Construction Project
The Grand Junction Police Department and owners of an excavator stolen from a North 7th Street construction site are asking for help locating the equipment the people who took it.
Crime Stoppers of Mesa County reports sometime between 5 p.m. Thursday, August 16 and 6:30 a.m. someone entered the 7th Street road construction site, loaded, and drove off with a 1996 Yanmar model VOI50-3 excavator.
The stolen excavator is yellow with a green cab, serial number 30960B, and has a red equipment sticker plate bearing X577108. The excavator is valued at over $60,000.

All calls and online reports are completely anonymous and if the information provided leads to an arrest, the person providing that information is eligible for a cash reward up to $1,000 without ever having to reveal their identity.
