A few weeks have passed, but the vandalism of a local business back in November is the Crime Stoppers Crime of the Week.

According to the Mesa County Sheriff's Department, the incident occurred on Thanksgiving Day when someone shot the door of a business in the 2900 block of Patterson in Grand Junction. Damage to the business was estimated at more than $1000.

Authorities don't have a photo of the suspect, but they did get a good shot of the suspect's vehicle - which should be pretty easy to spot. The vehicle is described as an older Dodge Ram extended cab pickup. The truck is believed to be dark green in color with peeling paint on the hood and the roof.

Be on the lookout for this vehicle when you are out and about. If you would happen to spot a vehicle matching this description, you are asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 970-241-7867. If the information you share leads to an arrest, you could earn up to a $1000 reward. You can also visit the Crime Stoppers website at  241stop.com.

As with any crime, it's not a good idea to confront a suspect if you see one. It's best to contact authorities and let the professionals handle it. Of course, any time you suspected a crime is being committed or has been committed, you should report what you see to authorities.
