The 2022-2023 Colorado Avalanche Preseason Schedule is Here
The grind just doesn't stop here in Colorado, and we're already looking ahead at what's next for our Stanley Cup champions, Colorado Avalanche.
The National Hockey League officially announced the 2022-2023 Colorado Avalanche preseason schedule on July 5, 2022.
2021-2022 Stanley Cup Champions
Barely a little over a week prior, on Sunday, June 26, 2022, Colorado Avalanche defeated Tampa Bay Lightning in the Stanley Cup Finals during game 6 with a final score of 2-1.
Tampa Bay Lightning won games 3 and 5, but in the end, were no match for Colorado Avalanche.
Stanley Cup Victory Parade
It was the first time in 21 years that the team brought home the Stanley Cup to Denver, Colorado, and the 3rd win for the team in franchise history.
In honor of the monumental win, a parade was held in downtown Denver on Thursday, June 30, 2022, where thousands of fans lined the streets to catch a glimpse of the all-star team, and of course the Stanley cup.
2022-2023 Colorado Avalanche Preseason Schedule
While fans have been busy celebrating this momentous feat the folks at the NHL have been busy working on what's next.
Colorado Avalanche has been scheduled for six exhibition games for the 2022-2023 preseason with 3 games at home and 3 games on the road.
Competition for the preseason is the same as it has been for the past 5 seasons. Colorado Avalanche will face the Dallas Stars, Minnesota Wild, and Vegas Golden Knights twice each with a game on each team's home turf.

- Sunday, September 25 Minnesota Wild at Minnesota Xcel Energy Center at 2 p.m. (split-squad)
- Sunday, September 25 vs Las Vegas Golden Nights at Denver Ball Arena at 7 p.m. (split-squad)
- Tuesday, September 27 vs the Minnesota Wild at Denver Ball Arena at 7 p.m.
- Wednesday, September 28 Las Vegas Golden Nights at Las Vegas T-Mobile Arena at 8 p.m.
- Monday, October 3 Dallas Stars at Dallas American Airlines Center at 6 p.m.
- Wednesday, October 5 vs the Dallas Stars at Denver Ball Arena at 7 p.m.
Unfortunately, single-game tickets for the pre-season and regular season will not be available until the official 2022-2023 schedule is released.
