What’s Colorado’s Favorite Christmas Candy?
Which candy do Coloradoans like best?
I don't have much of a sweet tooth. I don't know why but I've never been a big candy guy. A piece or two around Halloween, mini snickers please, and I'm good. At a Christmas party, I'll grab a piece or two of chocolate and that's about it.
I may not be all that into it, but I'm the exception, not the rule. According to CandyStore.com Americans will spend over $2 Billion on candy for Christmas! That's not Halloween and Christmas combined, or 4th quarter sales, that's just Christmas! Stocking stuffing is where most of that candy goes. Candy and booze are the easy go-to gifts when you're not sure what to get. You can't go wrong with a bottle of wine or a box of chocolates. Unless you skimp and buy those cheap cream filled chocolates. They suck!
I'm not sure why we need to know this but the good folks at Candystore.com did a survey to find what the most popular candies are in each of our 50 states. My home state of Missouri's favorite was Starburst. Tennessee wins my award for the most unusual. They're most popular was Peppermint Bark. I wasn't even sure what that was. Colorado's favorite is...drum roll, please...Hershey Kisses! I'm pretty sure that edible marijuana wasn't included in the survey. Happy Holiday's candy lovers!
