Tips for a Great Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner so here are a few tips to help make it great.

First, if you are planning to go out for dinner that night make your reservations now. There is nothing that says “I didn’t plan this out” like waiting for a table for an hour or more that night. That also includes making sure you have a babysitter for the kids that night.

Second, if are planning to stay out all night book your room now. Many hotels have deals for Valentine’s Day so take advantage and don’t forget to set the room up before you get there. Most places will let you this so get some flowers, balloons, candles and set up the room early that day. If you want to save a few bucks, get the kids out of the house for the night and do this part at home.

Third, don’t forget the gift. Jewelry is always nice but maybe a day at the spa or something she didn’t get for Christmas.

Finally, if you can make a day out of, go skiing, take a sleigh ride or even bowling, just something to do together and have fun.
