Today is your chance to get a sneak peek at the new Amphitheater at Las Colonias Park! The city is inviting everyone out for this evening's ribbon cutting ceremonies.

It's official, or nearly so, as soon as the ribbon is cut the new  Amphitheater at Las Colonias Park will be open for business. It's completed months ahead of schedule and the city and local concert promoters are ready to get down to business.

Come out this evening and experience the place for yourself. The bands breaking in the new venue are local favorites Straygrass and Collin Reese. Given it's a warm afternoon the complimentary ice cream from Gelu and Enstrom's will be extra tasty. Food and cold beverages from local vendors will be available as well.

5:00 PM ~ Gates Open
6:00 PM ~ Program and Ribbon Cutting

Here's a map of the grounds. Come out and get familiar with Grand Junction's new live music venue.
