This is my first full season of Palisade Peach madness. How do I know I'm really buying the true Palisade variety and are they really that much better?

I don't want to cause mass hysteria but rumor has it, peaches are here! Since my arrival 11 months ago, I've heard a lot about the Palisade Peaches and it's my understanding that some of the early varieties are out there. Last year I got to try one. I plan to do much better this year.

Palisade will be celebrating their annual Peach Festival this weekend. There's a good reason for them to party. Compared to Palisade peaches, the other 2000 varieties suck. Here's why the other peaches wish they could be from Palisade.
