Still Time To Take In The Black Canyon Hunt & Outdoor Expo

I may have only lived here 7 months, however, I've hunted the front range several times and understand the great heritage that is hunting in Colorado.  The Black Canyon Hunt & Outdoor Expo at Two Rivers Convention Center continues until 6 pm today.

My first Colorado elk hunt was back in the mid-80's. My father and I traveled from Missouri and met a small group at an outfitter west of Colorado Springs. I didn't bag an elk that year. I did manage to take a nice mule deer and thoroughly enjoyed my week in the mountains. It's a trip I'll never forget.

Grand Junction and the Two Rivers Convention Center is a perfect location for this event. At the expo check out the wide variety of products and services the exhibitors have to offer. This event is jam-packed with seminars, events and more. There are kids activities and door prizes. It's a beautiful day and no reason not to get out to plan your next hunting adventure.
