Colorado Parks and Wildlife extend limits for several big-game.

Wildlife officials have decided to extend limits for licenses for several big-game species. CP&W reports that deer, elk, and moose are stable and pronghorn populations are increasing the state. Licenses will be increasing for some big-game however, will be decreasing for elk.

Limited licenses for pronghorn will increase by 7% 26,600 permits. Deer licenses will be increased by 3% to 94,900 and bear licenses will go up by 9% to 28,600. A limited number licenses will be issued for moose and 350 licenses for bucks will be offered to start the 2018 hunting season.

The time is now to plan for your hunting trip this fall. The application process is already underway. It started on March 1st, and new for this year will be an entirely paperless process. More more info, click HERE.
