Grand Junction’s Toy Run Going For Records
The 39th annual Toy Run looks to be one of the biggest ever.
I've been involved in Toy Run type events for decades. When you work on a local rock radio station, chances are you're going to be participating. For the last two years, 95 Rock has supported this annual event. This year we're ramping things up with a huge pre-ride party the morning of December 1st. If you own a motorcycle your participation is excepted. Don't ride? No problem. You can still help out and take in the fun. Bring out a new unwrapped toy or a $10 cash donation the morning of December 1st to Grand Junction Harley Davidson, 2747 Crossroads Blvd. You can hang out and you'll also be given a wristband that gets you into the post-party at the Two Rivers Convention Center. There will be live music, food, beer, and an all around good time.
So if you ride or not come on out. It's going to be a great day all for a great cause. The Salvation Army needs your help to make sure every kid in the Grand Valley has a Merry Christmas!
