This morning on Super Bowl XLIX's Radio Row in Phoenix, we got the chance to talk to Solomon Wilcots on "The Free Beer & Hot Wings Morning Show."

He played six seasons in the NFL before going into sports broadcasting.

The 50-year-old played defensive back with the Cincinnati Bengals, Minnesota Vikings and Pittsburgh Steelers.

He's now an Emmy Award-winning broadcaster with CBS Sports, NFL Network and Sirius XM's NFL Radio. He also does leadership and motivational speeches.

We talked, as you might expect, about pro football, the NFL and the Super Bowl. He has also covered college basketball.

You can follow Wilcots on Twitter.
