Broncos Re-Sign Safety Kareem Jackson

Well that was quick...and thankfully so because he's a heck of a player. Less than 2 weeks after declining his contract option sending him into free agency, thankfully things have worked out and he and the team have agreed to stay together under a little friendlier team deal.

According to the Denver Broncos, Kareem Jackson, a 12th year player and tremendous leader on defense has agreed to a one year deal worth around $5 Million...he was set to make $10 million before the Broncos had not exercised an option in Jackson's contract that would have locked in the final year of a three-year deal Jackson had signed in 2019.

He was drafted by the Houston Texans but since joining the Broncos in 2019, Jackson has started 29 games,  snagged three interceptions, has had 14 passes defensed, one forced fumble, two fumble recoveries, 160 total tackles, five tackles for loss and a touchdown with Denver in his return to Houston.

Lots of people were excited about it too...in addition to the team and Kareem himself.

Personally for me, it's NEVER too early to start getting revved up for football season...if you're ready too...here's who the Broncos will be playing in 2021. (Dates and times will be released sometime around the NFL draft in April)
