Snowmobile Hill Climb Race At Powderhorn This Weekend

For you X-Games and winter sports fans there's an event this weekend you shouldn't miss! It's the first ever snowmobile hill climb at Powderhorn.

Ski season may be over but the party continues this weekend at Powderhorn. When I was thinking about what I was doing this weekend I came across this. Not being a local I had no idea what the Rocky Mountain States Hill Climb Association or RMSHA, was. After some investigation I discovered these guys organize and operate snowmobile hill climb races all across the Rockies.

This competition is the first of its kind at Powderhorn. Racers will climb one of the more challenging runs to the top in these time-trial heats.The first race is set to start at 8 AM tomorrow with the competition continuing on Sunday as well.

Along with the racing, there's live music on Saturday by The Tankerays 1-3 PM and Bicycle Annie 3:30-6:30 PM.
