No jackpot winners but several Coloradans did cash in!

First, a reminder since nobody won the $1 Billion jackpot, it is now nearly $1.6 Billion. A Billion is a thousand million...997 million, 998 million, 999 million...one Billion! The next drawing is this evening at 9 PM local time. Might as well toss in another few bucks and give it a shot.

There were no winners on the western slope but several around Colorado. A $10,000 winning ticket was sold in Colorado Springs. That ticket holder matched four of the first five numbers and the “megaball.” If that ticket would have matched the first five numbers, they would have won a cool $1 million dollars! These Colorado tickets were just one number away...$20,000 winner in Parker, $20,000 winner in Denver, $10,000 winner in Elizabeth, $10,000 in Northglenn, and a $10,000 winner in Fort Collins. The $20K winners added the multiplier to their tickets that doubled the value of their prize. There were 24 Coloradoans that won a $1,000 prize.

According to the Colorado Lottery officials, no local has ever won the Mega Millions jackpot. Wouldn't you love to be the one that bucks that trend?
