Rifle and Fruita Make "Best Small Towns" List

Country Living magazine name two regional towns as some of Colorado's best.

On a trip out this way travel journalist Jill Gleeson contributor for Woman's Day, Country Living, Washingtonian, Gothamist, Canadian Traveller, EDGE Media Network, and Curve gives her thoughts on "The 15 Best Small Towns In Colorado."

Jill says, "I wanted to include Colorado's small towns that aren't a mountain or ski town," Gleeson said. "Colorado has more to offer geographically and topographically."

I guess her thinking was that the ski towns get most of the spotlight and this was a way of showcasing some of the other great Colorado towns besides the more well known. Whatever the motivation, it's cool that two area towns made the list. So if you're fortunate enough to live in Fruita or Rifle feel free to boast the fact your town made the list. For whatever that's worth.
