We are all busy, busy, busy --running to and 'fro just trying to make it through another day. Often times, we go about our business totally oblivious to those around us completely caught up in own own lives, needs, and problems. And so it is always nice to see someone step outside of their comfort box and lend a helping hand to someone in need.

We witnessed this at the Boston Marathon bombing with many individuals rushing to the aid of those who were wounded or shaken by the blast. Most of us will never have that sort of opportunity to be a good Samaritan, but the fact is, there are probably opportunities around us all the time if we just take the blinders off our eyes.

It could be helping an elderly person get their groceries into their car, or getting something off the top shelf for them. Maybe it's stopping to let someone pull out of a parking lot and on to a busy street. It could be as small as that, or something bigger like stopping to help someone who's had an accident, or helping someone who has fallen and can't get up.

I like the fact that in this video, the motorcycle rider goes to the aid of this elderly man who has fallen. What I find interesting is the lady with the blue bag who sees the man fall-- and then scurries on by. Which one are you? I hope that when the time comes I am the motorcycle rider.

Check out this video. It will make you feel good to know there are kind, caring people in the world.
