Loma Event Features 5K, Crafts, Music, Easter Egg Hunt
It's a first-time Easter event and it's happening in Loma.
Last year at this time, in-person events were being canceled right and left as we stood on the precipice of a historic pandemic. Little did we know how dramatically different things would be in regards to in-person events and concerts. This year, we are seeing things moving in the opposite direction with more and more in-person events popping up and being announced.
What's Happening?
The 1st annual Easter Fun in the Country will happen on March 27 at the Absolute Prestige Ranch at 1351 Q Road in Loma and looks like it will have a little something for everyone.
- Craft show and expo
- 5k and 1.5K
- Easter Egg Hunts (various age categories)
- Music, food, and beverages (cash bar)
- Family games
How Much Does It Cost?
Admission to the event is $5, and of course, there is a charge for the 1.5k and 5k. You can get more information on their event website.
How To Get There
To get to Easter Fun in the Country, just take Interstate 70 to Loma. Go north on Highway 139 and then take a right on Q Road and you are there.
We certainly don't know how 2021 is going to unfold, but we are off to a good start and it appears we are trending in a very positive direction. A decline in COVID numbers in Mesa County is definitely a good reason to be optimistic. We anticipate a full calendar of events this year across the Grand Valley and this is only the beginning.
