Last Chance At Powderhorn
It seems like yesterday we were talking about opening day. It's hard to believe today's the last day of the 50th Aniversary season at Powderhorn.
I regret not making up on the Mesas this winter. Too much work and things going on prevented my making the trip. It was on "to do" list. Being new to the region I wanted to experience as much as the area had to offer but winter sports wasn't in the cards.
However, if you're a lover of skiing today's your last shot at Powderhorn. The other resorts may have a few more weeks left but time there too is running out.
It's spring hours today. The Flat Top Flyer will be open until 4:30 PM. The West End Lift will be open until 3:30 PM this afternoon.
It too is the last day of the 50th Anniversary season. That may be incentive enough to grab the board, or skis, and head up to celebrate the end of a historic season. Especially if you've not made it to Powderhorn this year.
