A website booking over 325,000 hotels in 19,000 different locations has put together a collection of the "12 Best City Escape Hotels in the U.S." It just so happens a hotel in Colorado made this prestigious list.
This Colorado hotel "pulls off an edgy, New York loft style and is a hub of creativity..." according to Hotels.com. It's within walking distance of an art museum and a performing arts complex. This could very well be your next getaway.
Set A Course For This Awesome Colorado Hotel
Hotels.com, an American company operating 85 websites where you can book reservations online or via telephone, put together a fascinating list of "The 12 Best City Escape Hotels In the U.S." According to Wikipedia, from Hotels.com you can book a stay at lodgings ranging from hotels to B&Bs, even condos and various other forms of lodging.
Coming In at #9 on the list is The Maven at Dairy Block in Denver. Are you familiar with it? Until yesterday, I had never heard of this hotel. Then again, I tend to book reservations at hotels where you have to prop a chair up against the door each night.
The Maven at Dairy Block
Hotels.com writes, "For a stylish and modern stay in Denver, consider The Maven at Dairy Block in the heart of trendy LoDo (Lower Downtown)." The hotel features a lobby cocktail bar and an in-house restaurant offering Tex-Mex dishes.
If you are into arts and culture, this may be the perfect getaway for you. The Denver Art Museum is within walking distance, as is the Denver Performing Arts Complex. You'll also be within arm's reach of the city's best restaurants.
A Stay at The Maven
According to their official webpage, The Maven offers 172 guest rooms and suites, all offering a stylish loft-style experience.
Okay, How Much?
Using Hotels.com on my dumbphone, a search was made for reservations for one room with two travelers for the dates of August 16 through 23, 2023. The room featured a king bed. Crunch the numbers at Hotels.com, and at $482 per night, you arrive at a total of $4,201 for the stay.
Okay, so it's not exactly cheap. Then again, the last time I stayed in Denver, I paid close to $100 a night, and after a night at that hotel, a tetanus shot was in order. I didn't even want to look at the bed, let alone sleep in it.
Attractions You'll Find Nearby
