Do you have some love to give to an aging homeless pet in Grand Junction?

Today's Pets of the Week from Roice Hurst Humane Society include an older dog who is just as sweet as can be and is in need of a loving home for her remaining years.

I fully understand why it can be difficult sometimes for an older pet to find a home. You just don't know how much longer they have to live - and the trip across the rainbow bridge is usually pretty heart-wrenching for the owner. But, I also can see where it would be such a huge blessing to the pet and its owner to have those final years filled with joy and love.

Foxy is 11-years-old and the folks at Roice-Hurst tell us she is every bit as sweet as she looks. She enjoys the finer things of life like yummy treats and gentle walks. At her age, she knows she deserves to be the center of attention and would prefer to be the only pet in the home. How fun it would be to just completely spoil this sweet girl and make her happy.
