Grand Junction Cat Shelter in Need of Food Donations
A Grand Junction animal shelter is in need of food donations. Can you help out?
CLAWS, Cat's League and Assistance of the Western Slope, a non-profit 501c3 organization, is in need of wet food donations. According to their official Facebook page:
We have had a higher than normal influx of cats this last week with the colony cats and multiple groups of surrenders from bad situations. Our kitties are desperately in need of wet food. Any amount helps us keep everyone full and happy. - CLAWS via Facebook
CLAWS, the largest cat rescue between Denver and Salt Lake City, is a guaranteed adoption facility. In other words, the cats and kittens have a home at the shelter until such time as they are adopted.
Who staffs the shelter? According to their Facebook page, 95% of their services and activities are performed by volunteers.
