There is just no way you can say no to these precious faces.

Every week we feature adoptable pets from Roice-Hurst Humane Society and just when you think they can't get any more adorable - along comes Caramel and her canine cohorts. I wonder if they have any idea how darling they look.

If you want a puppy, Caramel might just be a girl. I have a feeling she won't last very long at all, so don't delay. Caramel is two-months-old and just turned old enough for adoption.

This sweet girl is your typical, playful, goofy pup and is ready to start her life with a new family. It looks like she's going to be a big one.

Conan is two years old and was found as a stray earlier this month. He quickly became a staff favorite because of his loving, calm, yet playful demeanor. He'd probably do well in a home with other dogs, but, he's not a fan of cats.

Koda Is A Whole Lot of Dog

Koda is such a great-looking dog with plenty of energy and lots of strength. He's just one year old and was found recently as a stray. He has a reputation as an escape artist so he would do best in a home with tall fences and an active owner.

If you are interested in meeting one of these dogs, contact Roice-Hurst Humane Society at 970-434-7337.

Adoption Special This Week

On Saturday, April 23, Roice-Hurst will be welcoming a group of dogs from Palm Valley Animal Society in Edinburg, Texas, where they care for about 20,000 pets a year The dogs are being transferred from overcrowded areas to places where they have a better chance of finding a home. That means Roice-Hurst needs to clear the shelter to make room for the incoming pets so they are doing an adoption special.

All this week, you can stop in at the shelter between noon and 4pm and adopt a pet for the adoption fee of your choosing. You can see all of the adoptable pets on the Roice-Hurst website.
