Grand Junction Actors Sought for Green Arrow Fan Film
Are you an aspiring actor in the Grand Junction area? Would you like to get some screen time in a Green Arrow fan film? Auditions are coming up this week.
Shadow Walker Studios, a photography and videography business located in Palisade, will be hosting auditions this Friday and Saturday, March 13 and 14.
Unfortunately, I'm not really familiar with Shadow Walker Studios. However, in recent years I've seen a number of "fan films," and many are as good, if not better, than some of the major motion pictures coming out of Hollyweird. There are a number of Star Trek and Batman fan films on Youtube which drastically outclass their big-budget counterparts. I'd be curious to see what this local studio will do with a Green Arrow film.
This has me curious. I might just have to stop by. While I have no interest in acting, it would be fun to witness the audition process.
You, on the other hand, may have a desire to get a part in this film. If you or someone you know is looking to get into the movie business, it might be wise to audition. This company did host a round of tryouts a week ago, but there are more on the horizon.

The next audition dates are:
- Friday, March 13 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- Saturday, March 14 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Auditions will be held at Four Winds Coffee and Tea at 1235 Bookcliff Avenue in Grand Junction. If you choose to audition, you'll be asked to fill out an information form.
This sounds like an excellent opportunity to get into the movies. Please help spread the word.
