Grand Junction Police Trying to Identify Suspects in Brutal Assault
The Grand Junction Police Department is searching for people who may know the identity and whereabouts of two men involved in a brutal assault.
Crime Stoppers of Mesa County reports on Saturday, April 28 at 1:45 a.m. police were responding to an assault in progress near 28 Road and Belford Avenue. When they arrived they found the victims of the assault with serious injuries.
Just prior to officers arriving at the scene, the suspects, described as two Hispanic males in their 20s or 30s, had fled in a gold-colored SUV with a temporary license plate. The police report also says the suspects drove up, got out of the SUV, assaulted the victims, and then drove away.
