When it comes to COVID-19, how is Colorado doing? Things are looking up, according to officials...so long as we all wear a mask.

According to new information from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, 1,884 cases of COVID-19 were reported in the last week. Colorado's peak week in July had 4,033 cases.

The Greeley Tribune wrote this morning that state officials are still urging everyone to wear a mask, especially with students returning to school. However, a low rate of positive tests continues to raise hopes in our state, since it means that "there likely aren’t a large number of undetected infections."

State officials and health professionals continue to urge Coloradans— especially new college students— to continue keeping their social distance and to avoid parties. Sounds like it's time to bring back Zoom happy hours.
