Colorado Woman Killed in Possible Domestic Violence Identified
A Colorado woman that was tragically murdered in a possible case of domestic violence last Thursday (February 17, 2022) has been identified.
The Victim
The victim of this crime which is still being investigated has been identified as Demixica Mosley. Mosley was killed last Thursday at a residence located at 291 South Jasper Circle in Aurora, Colorado at the age of 38.
The Crime
The details regarding the crime in question that occurred last Thursday leading to Mosley's death in Aurora are not totally clear yet but based on past evidence, authorities have been led to believe that Mosley's murder was rooted in domestic violence.
When police were called to the residence they found Mosley deceased and her husband had also been shot, prompting a trip to the hospital. Mosley's husband's name has not yet been released but the theory surrounding the crime is that Mosley's husband shot and killed her and then put the gun on himself. However, unlike Mosley, her husband's injury only landed him a trip to the hospital and didn't take away his life.
Prior Domestic Violence
One of the reasons that the local authorities believe Mosley's death to have been caused as a result of a domestic violence dispute is the fact that the couple has had documented disputes in the past. In fact, Aurora Police have been called to the residence in question numerous times in recent months for domestic violence calls. In addition, it was reported that prior to Mosley being murdered, a domestic dispute was reported at the residency.
