Colorado’s midterm election Voter Service and Polling Centers are open.

The right to vote. It's a right not everyone on the planet enjoys but one that we as Americans seem to take for granted. Did you know that only 58% of the worlds counteries with a population of at least 500,000 or more, are democracies? That's about 2/3rds. The rest are authoritarian or some mixture of the two.

The 2018 midterm Election Day is Tuesday, November 6th. Many of Colorado's voting residents received their ballots in the mail last week. Statewide Voter Service and Polling Centers opened this week. At these locations, voters can drop off their ballots, vote in person, or register to vote. If you're not sure where your closest location is, find out by clicking HERE and enter your address. I live in downtown Grand Junction so the closest to my home is at the Mesa County Central Services office at 200 South Spruce Street.

Local early voting hours are...Monday, Oct 22 through Friday, Oct 26th are 8 AM - 5 PM Saturday, Oct 27th 9 AM - 1 PM, Monday, Oct 29th through Friday, Nov 2ed: 8 AM - 5 PM, Saturday, Nov 3rd 9 AM - 1 PM and Monday, Nov 5th 8 AM-5 PM.

If you've not yet registered to vote, there's still time. You can do so by clicking HERE. You can even register on your phone by texting "CO" to 28683 (2VOTE).
