A Colorado man has just received a sentence of three decades in prison after being found guilty of murdering his cousin back in 2020.

The man found guilty of murder and sentenced to prison time because of it has been identified as 26-year-old Isaiah Alexander Bennett of Arvada, Colorado. Bennett is said to have had "an apparent long-standing issue" with his cousin who ended up being the victim of this murder.

The victim of this Colorado murder has been identified as 26-year-old Raymond Jutting, the cousin of Bennett. It was also reported that Jutting was wearing a cast on his arm from a previous injury at the time of the murder.

The murder that eventually led to Bennett being sentenced to 30 years in prison took place on June 27, 2020, at his home on Marshall Street in Arvada, Colorado. It has been reported that the victim arrived at Bennett's house and an argument broke out while Jutting was outside the home and Bennett was indoors arguing with the victim through a window.
It was due to this argument that Bennett allegedly shot Jutting a total of nine times in the back, killing his cousin. Despite this crucial evidence, Bennett argued that the shooting was in self-defense.

Bennett eventually pleaded guilty to second-degree murder last Friday, April 8, 2022, and was given a sentence of 30 years in prison.
