Colorado Man Found Guilty of Triple Murder Over Land Dispute
Back in 2023, a man in a rural part of Colorado was accused of being responsible for the deaths of three people, a situation that came about because of a land dispute. Now, the man has been found guilty of the triple murder and awaits sentencing.
The Colorado Land Dispute that Resulted in Murder
On November 20, 2023, a man by the name of Hanme Clark was arrested after it was discovered that three of his neighbors had been shot to death. While Clark was initially identified as the prime suspect in the murders, it certainly did not help his case that he was the subject of a roughly 24-hour manhunt prior to his capture after he fled to New Mexico.

The shooting took place near Westcliffe, Colorado, a small town in Custer County, though the rural area in which Clark and the deceased lived was near the border of Fremont County, which is home to Cañon City.
According to reports, the dispute began because Clark believed that the victims were using a driveway that belonged to him, and he even fired gunshots prior to actually shooting and killing the victims in anger.
Unfortunately, the dispute escalated and resulted in the shooting deaths of 63-year-old Robert Geers, 73-year-old Beth Wade Geers, and 58-year-old James Daulton.
