While some high school students will be learning about things like geometry and calculus next fall, others will be learning a completely different set of skills in a new program designed by a couple of heavy hitters in the entertainment industry.

Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine’s Classes to Be Taught in Colorado

The aforementioned heavy hitters are Andre Young, better known as Dr. Dre, a former member of hip hop group NWA and current solo artist, producer, and businessman, as well as Jimmy Iovine, producer and co-founder of Interscope Records.

What Will the New Colorado High School Classes Be Like?

The program is offered by the Iovine and Young Center for Innovation and will focus on things like entrepreneurship, technology, design, business, creativity, and the arts.
While it’s unclear what exactly each course will focus on, it has been revealed that the courses will have titles like “Rapid Prototyping” and “Disrupting Innovation.”

How Can Colorado Students Enroll in the New Classes?

The classes will be offered at two Colorado high schools. One of these schools is Manual High School, which is located at 1700 East 28th Avenue in Denver, and the other is the Denver School for the Arts, located at 7111 Montview Boulevard, also in Denver.
