Colorado’s Most Famous Mexican Restaurant is Ready for Halloween
Casa Bonita has been a Colorado staple since first opening its doors at its location at 6715 Colfax Avenue in Denver in 1974 and while it’s quite a bit different since being purchased and upgraded by South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone after it nearly went out of business due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it remains popular and today, may be more famous across the nation than ever before.

One of the biggest changes made by Parker and Stone was an upgrade in the quality of food, and with Halloween right around the corner, fans of the restaurant can enjoy some of the restaurant’s most famous food items for a huge discount.
Colorado's Casa Bonita to Celebrate Halloween in 2025
Halloween is right around the corner, and because of this, Colorado’s famous Casa Bonita has rebranded itself as Casa BOOnita, aligning with the holiday with specials.
For one, the restaurant has advertised that when an entire table of guests is dressed in their Halloween costumes, they’ll receive a free order of the famous Casa Bonita sopapillas.
In addition, patrons will find that the restaurant, which is decorated in its signature “Disneyland of Mexican Restaurants” fashion year-round, has some additional garb during the month of October.
In Mexico, Día de los Muertos, which translates to Day of the Dead in English, is celebrated from October 1 to October 2 each year as a remembrance of loved ones who have passed on.
In keeping up with this tradition and the restaurant’s Mexican theme, Casa Bonita has introduced decor that aligns with this holiday, with which patrons can take pictures.
