When it comes to the main street of Estes Park, shopping is where it is at when it comes to spending a little money and getting a souvenir. The charming shops and restaurants are guaranteed to give you a special feeling when you walk through their doors. One of my favorite types of shops in the small Colorado mountain town is the candy shop. I am always fascinated by the taffy-pulling contraption displayed in the window pulling the sweet candy.

Located at 121 West Elkhorn Avenue, the Taffy Shop has made visitors smile with the vast array of taffy flavors for decades. The handmade saltwater taffy goes from raw ingredients to a flavorful candy in about two and a half hours. This process includes being aerated on the taffy puller which will incorporate little bubbles into the taffy, giving it a light and fluffy texture.

Some of the many flavors you can purchase at the Taffy Shop in Estes Park include cinnamon, peppermint, vanilla, chocolate, Texas pecan, lemon, and many more. So the next time you are in Estes Park, stop into the Taffy Shop and pick up a few flavors of saltwater taffy. Plus, this also gives you bragging rights to say you went to and bought candy from the best candy shop in the United States.
