It's been a popular week for Grand Junction area restaurants to reopen. Some were closed to health concerns, others for remodel. Either way, here's a few venues you can now visit.

A number of area food venues were hit hard in recent weeks. Fortunately, in most cases, their downtime was brief. For another restaurant, their business was closed to the public for two-and-a-half months. As of the middle of this week, these businesses either concluded their remodels, or were given the green light to reopen.

The good news - employees are back to work, money is coming in, tax revenue has resumed, and people are enjoying great food and drink at locally operated bars and restaurants. Here's a quick rundown for the week.

I, for one, really enjoy the Tuesday Blues Jam at Charlie Dwellington's. Fortunately, it seems as though only one session of the Blues jam was missed. Unfortunately, though, with colder weather moving in, combined with current restrictions requiring the jam be moved to the more "socially distant" patio, the jam may be over for the year. I'll keep you posted.

Bin 707 Foodbar

Via their Facebook page, Bin 707 Foodbar writes, "We’re back! Dinner from 5-10pm Mon-Sat"

Taco Party

Chic-Fil-A

Welcome back! Judging by what was written on various social media pages, Grand Junction residents truly missed these venues. This lends credence to the notion we are creatures of habit. In any case, it's good to see these awesome businesses back in operation. Now, let's eat.
