Bikes, Brews, Costumes, and Music, Oh My
Modeled after the popular “Tour de Fat” festival, CMU students and alumni look to establish "Tour de Rock" in downtown Junction.
There's already a similar event over on in Ft. Collins. The idea is to use the 10th street bike path to connect the CMU campus to downtown. Of course, it already does but the idea is to solidify the campus to downtown and there's nothing better than a festival filled with live music and cold beer to help make that happen.
The party is this Thursday evening at the corner of 4th and Main. Everyone is encouraged to dress up in costume. Yes, there's a contest. The winner scores a $100 downtown Grand Junction gift card. There will be food trucks, a beer garden, and great live music with our friends' Bicycle Annie, and Suckafish headlining. Yours truly will have the honor to intro those guys, so indeed I will see you there! For more info just click HERE!
