Voting on election day can be a nightmare for voters having to stand in long lines awaiting their turn in the voting booth. And, quite frankly, this is one thing that discourages many people from carrying out their constitutional right and responsibility. Many people, as much as they may WANT to vote, either don’t have the time or don’t want to take the time to stand in line for an hour – or two- to vote. That’s what makes early voting so great! Lines tend to be much shorter and often times you can get  in and out, and get on with the rest of your busy day.
Election Day isn’t until November 6th but voting is underway. Not everyone realizes that you don’t have to wait until election day to cast your vote, even if you did not receive a mail-in ballot. There are several locations that are hosting early voting in Mesa County from 8am  until 5pm Monday through Friday.
