Anything that's been going strong for 50 consecutive years is special. That's called an institution. The annual Kiwanis Club Pancake Day is this Saturday at the Two Rivers Convention Center.

It's been years since I've been to one these type of events. We had an annual charity "No K Run" radio promotion in Wichita a few years back. It was the opposite of a walk/run that included all the pancakes and sausage you could eat! I'm getting hungry just thinking about it.
