I'm pretty sure this is against international laws, but remember it's happening in North Korea so I'm sure they could care less. Unless you want to be blown to bits don't do anything North Korea will want to execute you for.
A North Korean army minister was executed for allegedly boozing it up and 'carousing'
during the 'official mourning' period of Kim Jong Il's death. They didn't execute him by hanging, guillotine or firing squad, they used a mortar round and fired it at him.

Kim Chol, the now former vice minister of the North Korean army was taken into custody earlier this year on orders from Kim Jong Un, Kim Jong Il's son, who is now the leader of the commie nation.

The North Koreans continue to seek a nuclear weapon and apparently are also busy executing people including some by mortar rounds. Kim Jong Un requested the execution, "leave no trace of him behind, down to his hair".

They forced this guy to stand in a spot with a mortar round pointed at it to 'obliterate the man'. The execution is just one of many instances of the government 'purging' their own officials of the North Korean military or political party members that Kim Jong Un felt threatened  his new regime. So far 14 officials so far have been 'purged' according to South Korean officials including the head of the army and governor of the North Korean Central Bank.

It's thought the new leader is trying to consolidate his own power and deter criticism of his age or inexperience. When he took power high ranking military officials just started disappearing. He ordered officials to use 'misbehavior' during his father's mourning period to mark them for death. Most have been by firing squad.
