The Fruita-Monument Wildcats were on the visitor's side for the second week in a row at Stocker Stadium, this time against the winless Central Warriors. It was a different Grand Junction team that they were playing, but the results were the same.

The Wildcat's offense came out strong in the first half, scoring 26 first half points, while the defense kept Central from scoring at all. The Warriors scored an early safety in the 3rd quarter, but did not find the end zone until the 4th quarter. Meanwhile, the Wildcats only added 7 additional points in the 4th quarter.The final score was 33 to 10 for the Wildcats. This makes their season record 3-4 overall, while Central remains winless.

Fruita-Monument will play the Montrose Indians next week at home for the Friday Night Lights Game of the week. Central plays Saturday afternoon at 1:00 PM against the Durango Demons also at Stocker Stadium. The CMU Mavericks will also be in town next weekend, playing at 6:00 PM.
