Why Colorado is a Dream Come True
I drove 1,934 miles to get here and I'm not going back. I moved to Colorado about a month and a half ago and I have loved every second of it! Here are a few reasons why you should move to Colorado too.

Starting over in a new state is awesome because everything and everyone here is completely new! No more seeing the same faces and places all the time. I'm excited to make some new friends.

What do you mean my hair doesn't triple in size anymore? I love that there's no humidity here, if I'm hot and I find some shade, I'm good to go! Back in North Carolina, you step outside and start sweating immediately.

The beginning of my appreciation for Colorado's beauty started while driving across the state in May. Foothills, the Book Cliffs, and red rocks are not something I'm used to and I catch myself smiling just looking at them. Plus the mountains around here make the Blue Ridge Mountains look like hills.

Fishing, hiking, biking, boating, skiing, does the list ever end? I'm slowly but surely becoming the pro fisherwoman my dad always wanted me to be. Just kidding, but I really have been fishing like crazy and even caught my first rainbow trout at Mack Mesa Lake at Highline Lake State Park!
