Colorado has just been named the skinniest state in U.S!

Makes sense. With all the outdoor activities, biking, hiking, skiing, and more, Colorado should be the perfect place to stay active and help keep the weight off. Colorado ranked last in a recent study from WalletHub and their list of “fattest” states in the U.S. It's sad but "fat' has become the new "normal". That's according to recent info from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Currently, more than 70% of U.S. adults over the age of 20 are either overweight or obese. The news for kids isn't much better. The overall rate is lower in children and adolescents but they too are getting fatter. Over the last several years childhood obesity has risen steadily. Obesity costs the U.S. nearly $200 billion in health care costs each year.

So congrats Colorado! Way to go! You are the skinniest in the U.S. And so we can look down upon them with smugness, here's the list of the 10 most overweight states.
