Five Reasons to Attend
So, why should you set aside your valuable time to attend? There are countless things you could do on a Saturday in June. Well, these are my top five reasons why you should gather up the whole family and make plans to attend.
- It's free to attend... .and there isn't much of that going around, now is there?
- This is a FAMILY event, with something for everyone
- Live music with Western Colorado's very own Desert Flyer Band
- The bikes are absolutely magnificent.... there's a good chance you'll see the bike of your dreams
- This is a LOCAL event showcasing the best Western Colorado has to offer
Whereas last year's event was held in downtown Montrose, the 2021 event is moving to Cerise Park. With any luck (fingers crossed) the new amphitheater will be up and running by June.
Bitter Sweet Year
This is an awesome event, hence the reason why it has been running for close to 15 years. I plan to bring my late mother's 1980 Honda TwinStar 200 and enter it in the show. The bike is in showroom condition with just over 2,000 original miles. I get a kick out of putting it in shows.
Sadly, after the event, I'll have to say farewell to my mother's bike. A collector called and asked to purchase it. With me, the bike leaves the garage once a year to go to this show. With a new owner, it'll get a makeover and return to service. The thought of that makes me, and I suspect my mother, very happy. Check it out below - the burgundy Honda TwinStar 200.
I hope to see you at the 2021 Unknown Motorcycle Show. Even if you don't have a bike, you'll enjoy the eye candy. Peruse the photos and videos above, all from past shows, and you'll see what I mean.
