Tumbleweed’s New Mega-Store

Just in time for 4/20 weekend De Beque gets a new store.

Most of us have made the pilgrimage to Parachute's Tumbleweed store. It's a favorite to bring visitors wanting to take in the true "Colorado experience." Of course, they were revolutionary with the opening of their "drive-through" location. That venture made national headlines and was parodied on late-night talk shows.  Now Grand Junction residents need now travel quite as far for the Tumbleweed experience.

The latest addition to the De Beque marijuana dispensary stores is Tumbleweed's De Beque store. Tumbleweed Dispensaries own seven locations across Western Colorado. Yesterday, on 4/20, they opened the De Beque store too much fanfare and a line out the door. "Never underestimate the power of the Tumbleweed,” said Mark Smith, CEO of Tumbleweed Dispensary.

They pretty much have everything they carry at the Parachute location. "We have 60 to 80 different strains,” said Delphena Silas, Team Lead for Tumbleweed Dispensary. "Nobody has as much product as we have,” said Smith. "Gummys, we sell drinks, we sell chocolates, we sell tablets,” said Silas. "Everything that we sell is grown here in Colorado and we probably pull from I want to sell 15 to 20 different grows.”
